Getting out the word

Phillip Bailey, president of Realtors, tells us that the LNG terminal “would spew tons of air pollution as part of the degasification process.” I feel that BHP Billiton would suggest to the good president that degasification of their product would be a poor business model. The word he was searching for is “regasification,” the reheating process that converts LNG into its natural gaseous state so that it can enter the storage and pipeline distribution system. Natural gas is a petrochemical which when burned to cook our dinners and heat our homes also “spews” air pollutants, a feature which I’m sure Phillip mentions to his clients.

Will Phillip be playing the leading man on the new series, “Million Dollar Listing?”
