I noticed this week that the Pacific Coast Highway median in the Civic Center area is looking quite lovely.
Am I the only one thinking that it is about time that Chevron clean up the station that they closed down (some say because of ground water pollution) and fenced that is now an ugly eye sore overgrown with weeds and trash and political signs? Chevron took down all markings that identified it as their station and opened another station of the other side of Malibu Emergency Care.
This area has been designated as the heart of Malibu, and to see this plot of land look like it is located in a very depressed city is, well, depressing.
Chevron is the second largest United States energy company with profits of $26.9 billion in 2011.
Clean up your mess Chevron—take responsibility please.
