The first five years of The Malibu Times print publication have been scanned, digitized and are now available online through Pepperdine University.
The Malibu Times originated on May 2, 1946 and has been carefully archived through the Pepperdine library.
“We had the papers for quite some time and we were trying to get them online,” librarian for digital curation and publication Kevin Miller said. “We used local money to digitize the first five years and finally completed it last week.”
Visitors to the site have the choice to do full text, headline, or keyword searches to maximize their search options.Â
