Malibu resident Jordan Wilimovsky placed second in the 5K and ninth in the 10K at the US Open Water Championships on April 27. The championships took place outdoors on Miromar Lake in Fort Myers, Fla.
Wilimovsky will travel to Canada in August to compete in the Junior Open Water World Championships. He also qualified for his second Olympic Trial cut last weekend.
