Municipal Grant Application Deadline Friday

The City of Malibu will be accepting applications for nonprofits interested in municipal grant money until 4 p.m. Friday.

The General Fund Grant Program was established to provide funds toward local nonprofits working to improve the community. Each year, the city gives out thousands of dollars to causes council members see as worthwhile, but the program is only open once per year, coinciding with the city budget.

The application for this year’s program opened on January 26 and will wrap on Friday, March 30 at 4 p.m. Applications will then be reviewed by the City Council Administration and Finance Subcommittee and then go on to council.
