Student artists at Juan Cabrillo elementary displayed their finest work of the year at the school’s annual student art exhibition. This year’s theme was “Cabrillo’s Ceramic City,” with pieces including buildings, bridges, markets, skyscrapers, planes and trains.
The exhibit also featured the fifth-grade shoe project where students bring in a shoe that represents them, titled “Art & Sole.” The visual arts program is taught by Malibu parent and artist, Nicole Fisher, and is made possible through the Juan Cabrillo PTA and the Santa Monica-Malibu Education Foundation.
