Malibu High School’s Shark Society celebrated the end of the year by honoring new members at a May 16 event. The society honored significant contributors to the Shark Fund, including Jeff and Janice Nikora, Barry and Christy Hilton, Laurentius Harrer, Eric Gruendemann and Patricia Manney.
The event also featured speeches by high-achieving students who will be attending top universities in the fall. The students, including Stanford-bound baseball player Parker Phillips, talked about their experiences at Malibu High and their appreciation of the fund.
