Malibu native Christopher Peck has been accepted to Teach for America’s teaching corps. He is a member of the organization’s 23rd incoming corps and will be teaching in Hawaii this fall. Out of 48,000 applicants, 5,800 were accepted into the program.
Peck graduated from Malibu High School in 2008 and received his degree from Pitzer College in 2012.
Teach for America is the national corps of recent college graduates who commit to teach for two years in public schools in need in urban and rural settings around the country.
