The following letter was sent to Malibu City Council.
As a Malibu local for over 40 years, I love this land and our environment, and want to protect our animals, our children, our future and our own health by freeing our city, parks and earth of poison.
In January we (the Karma Dealers) performed our song, “Poison Free Malibu,” to the Malibu Planning Commission. The performance can be found online at youtube.com/watch?v=LDlWsnESC5w.
I believe this is an issue that should not be taken lightly, but should be awakened and evolve.
There is no need to use any form of poison to kill rats and garden weeds or for other destructive uses in our environment.
You have the power to make the change. I plead for you to please poison free our world, our parks and our city, our Malibu. It is time to.
