Pacific Coast Highway will be down to one lane heading southbound this week as Caltrans contractors will be working on repairing the erosion-damaged slope and failed storm drain pipes on the shoulder above Broad Beach Road. The lane closure will be in place on PCH from Encinal Canyon Road to Trancas Canyon Road, effective Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The construction is expected to be completed in late January or early February.
