Southern California Edison has eight scheduled power outages for Malibu residents from Monday, Sept. 21 through Wednesday, Sept. 23, according to information provided by the City of Malibu.
SCE outages will impact the following areas:
Sept. 21:
- North of Harvester Road, east of Deerhead Rd, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- West side of Greenleaf Canyon Road, north of Lea Road, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Overnight Sept. 21-22:
- South side of PCH, east of Las Flores Canyon Road, 9 p.m. – 6 a.m.
Sept. 22:
- East side of Zumirez Road, north of PCH, 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- West side of Latigo Canyon Road, west of Newton Canyon Road, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- North side of Bonsall Drive, north of Rainsford Place, 8:30 a.m – 4:30 p.m.
- 20500 block of Pinnacle Way, 20600 block of Seaboard Road, and south side of Little Rock Way, east of Big Rock Drive, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Overnight Sept 22-23:
- South side of PCH, east of Las Flores Canyon Road, 9 p.m. – 6 a.m.
The outages will allow SCE workers to upgrade aging infrastructure, make needed improvements and complete other repairs to increase system reliability in the future. Various conditions could change or postpone the electrical work, according to SCE.
