Thirty-year Malibu resident Darlene Dufau Reid died Monday following a nine-year battle with breast cancer. Her age was not disclosed.
On Saturday, Reid received an Angel Award from Our Lady of Malibu Catholic School for her service and ongoing support.
Reid is survived by her husband of 35 years, John; daughters, Stacy Clark and Shannon Reid; son, Shaun Reid; grandson, Ryan Clark; son-in-law, Kevin Clark and brother, Dennis Dufau.
A Rosary will take place at Our Lady of Malibu Catholic Church this week on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., and the funeral mass will take place also at OLM the next day at 12 p.m.
