The USS John Paul Jones, a Navy destroyer than 505 feet long, is anchoring off the Malibu Pier this weekend until Sunday. Its crew of approximately 270 U.S. Navy sailors, including 31 Officers and 25 Chief Petty Officers, will be in the Malibu area on shore-leave shifts of approximately 180 at a time throughout the weekend.
