DUI checkpoint taking place this weekend

A DUI/driver’s license checkpoint will take place in Malibu on Friday and Saturday from 7:30 p.m. until 3:30 a.m. It will be conducted by the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station. 

During the checkpoint, officers will be looking for drivers who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. They will also be checking to make sure drivers are properly licensed. 

The checkpoint is being funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety.
