Los Angeles County Waterworks recently sent a notice of “Annual Adjustments.” According to the notice, if 50% of homeowners protest, there will be no increase. Therefore, there must be no real need for any increase.
Isn’t interesting that some government agencies don’t state details showing water costs? In the Waterworks notice, the only clue is a statement that wholesale rate increases need to be passed through and that inflation is also included. Why ask for an inflation increase rather than actual costs? It appears Waterworks can do fine without an increase, but wants one anyway.
