I was shocked to see the front page of The Malibu Times of May 13 featuring “Malibu teens enjoy break from AP exams.” I wonder what kind of message this image sends, AP students who are presumably the future leaders of their community and state, having a food fight!
And what is the editorial staff thinking? Perhaps you should insert this photo between one of a child in Haiti begging for food and one of a family in Sudan (take your pick of any country) scraping the dirt for some roots to eat, and call that “fighting for food.”
I find this totally reprehensible and in very poor taste.
