Malibu musician performs

Local jazz pianist Lisa Hilton performed for children in the Junior Blind program April 28 in Los Angeles. Junior Blind is a nonprofit organization that helps children who are blind, visually impaired, or multi-disabled achieve independence. About 100 students, family members and staff listened to Hilton perform songs from her album “Underground.”

“Lisa Hilton has inspired our students time and time again with her amazing performances,” said Laura Hardy, senior vice president of Junior Blind. “Children of all ages were tapping their feet and nodding their heads in rhythm with Lisa’s playful melodies.”

The Malibu Times is the first newspaper in Malibu, serving the community since 1946.
