After a week of sunshine and warm weather, a weekend of colder temperatures is in store for Malibu.
Friday night temperatures are predicted to be in the mid 50s with humidity percentages reaching the high 80s.
On Saturday, forecasters expect temperatures in the mid to high 50s Saturday along with winds reaching as high as 10 MPH and humidity percentages in the high 80s.
Saturday is also full of events throughout the day. They kick off at 10 a.m. with Malibu MOPS (Mothers Of Preschoolers) annual Bunny Brunch located at 6040 Merrit Dr. It’s $10 per person/$30 per family and includes: a pancake brunch, a visit from the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt.
At 11 a.m., Malibu Bluffs Park hosts the 16th annual Chumash Day. The event is free and will run to 7:30 p.m. It includes Native American food, traditions and much more.
For the night, head on down to Pepperdine University at 7:30 p.m. for the Pickford Ensemble: Up Against the Screen. The ensemble will be scoring three silent films all starring Mary Pickford at Pepperdine’s outside amphitheater. This event is free and food trucks will be on site.
Sunday temperatures will be about the same as Saturday in the mid to high 50s with winds reaching 10 MPH. The annual Chumash event wraps up its final day starting at 10 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m. Pepperdine University also hosts two more recitals Sunday at 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
