Beginning today through Friday, drivers cannot turn onto Cross Creek Road from Pacific Coast Highway between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The restriction is due to the Cross Creek Road redesign project, which the city says is near completion.
Cross Creek Road can be accessed from Civic Center Way. Once on Cross Creek Road, drivers can access local businesses and turn onto Pacific Coast Highway.
Also, the California Department of Transportation has closed one westbound lane of Pacific Coast Highway between LaHerran and Looschien roads to do emergency slope repair. The closure is expected to last until late February.
