Generator grab
Deputies responded to a burglary on Chimney Road in Malibu. Approximately $30,000 worth of concrete aluminum forms and a Champion generator valued at $1,000 were stolen from the property. The victim said the items were located northeast of the property and the front gate had been unlocked.

Jewelry bandit
Deputies responded to a burglary call at a jewelry store in Malibu. The store owner closed up as normal, but the following day she noticed there was a three-foot hole cut into the drywall and plywood to the back room of the jewelry store. The store had been ransacked and multiple items, including a MacBook Air, an Apple iPad and about 30 interchangeable bracelets were stolen. The bracelets were estimated to be worth $800.

Vehicle vandal
Deputies responded to a vandalism report call in LA County west of Malibu along Pacific Coast Highway. The victim parked his vehicle and went on a hike and, upon return, the window to his vehicle was smashed; however, nothing was stolen.

Slice ’n dice
Deputies responded to a vehicle vandalism call. The victim said he parked his vehicle on Pacific Coast Highway and upon return, he noticed the vehicle had two flat tires. The deputy observed the tires and noticed there were two-inch slash marks on the front and rear tires of the victim’s vehicle.
