Just in time for Mother’s Day on May 10, nominations are now being accepted for the 2015 Mother of the Year Rosie Award, named in honor of Rosie York. Each year, The Malibu Times honors one local mother for her hard work with a package of prizes. This year’s prize includes lunch at Kaishin Malibu, a collectors edition of “Westside Story,” wine from Malibu Family Wines, lunch at Duke’s Malibu, a fresh fruit and vegetable basket from Cornucopia Malibu Farmers Market, and more.
Entries will be accepted through Friday, May 8. The winner will be announced in the May 14 edition of the newspaper. If you know a worthy mother, please tell us in 250 words or less who you believe deserves to receive the 2015 Mother of the Year Award.
