After a successful 1st season, The “Impro Studio Presents” production of The Improvised Generation returns to perform more full-length improvised episodes in the style of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Los Angeles, CA — Feb. 26, 2016. Boldly going where no improvisers have gone before, the crew of the U.S.S. McGinley is gearing up for the 2nd season opening of The Improvised Generation, a show that creates never-before-seen and never-to-be-seen-again live episodes in the style of Star Trek: The Next Generation. The show boasts a cast of professional actors and improvisers, portraying their original characters aboard the U.S.S. McGinley—a ship and crew created by and for this show. Impro Studio will open its doors on Friday, March 4th at 8 pm to welcome improv fans, scifi fans, and Trekkies alike as the Starfleet crew navigates through the Alpha Quadrant.
The “Impro Studio Presents” production of The Improvised Generation was created and directed by Impro Studio community members Paul Hungerford, Sara Mountjoy-Pepka, Aliza Pearl, and Matthew George Pitner after learning that they not only shared a love for narrative improv, but each shared a passion for the stories told in the Star Trek series The Next Generation.
The Improvised Generation will debut its 2nd season run starting March 4th at 8pm and run every Friday until April 29 at Impro Studio, located at 1727 North Vermont Avenue, #208. Tickets for the interstellar event are $10 and can be found at http://improtheatre.com/events/improvised-generation-2/
