The following incidents were reported in Malibu between 2/25-3/8:

2/25-3/4

Bronze Burglary

Five bronze statues valued at over $4,000 were stolen from a home on PCH.

3/1-3/6

Robbed Room

The screen window to a Pepperdine student’s dorm room was cut open and more than $2,900 worth of computer equipment was stolen while the student was out of town.

3/5-3/7

Highway Heist

Native American artificats, perfume, jewlery and a shotgun was stolen from a home on PCH. Deputies also noticed the alarm sensor had been cut with an estimated loss and damages around $5,000.

Bailard Burglary

A purse was stolen out of a vehicle parked on Bailard Rd. by Nicholas Beach and charges to the victim’s credit cards totaled more than $10,000 from Target, Bank of America and American Express.

Vandalism

An air conditioning unit was stolen from a home on PCH and a patio and glass window were spray painted with graffiti.

Creek Crime

The front passenger window and driver’s window of a vehicle were smashed at Malibu Creek State Park and a rock was found near the passenger floorboard. Cosmetics and sunglasses were stolen from the vehicle and the front windshield was also cracked.Â
