Former Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes, recently left UCLA Medical Center’s psychiatric facility where she had been receiving treatment for severe mental illness. Bynes has now been moved to The Canyon, a treatment center in Malibu that treats addiction and psychiatric disorders.
Although The Canyon is best-know as an addiction recovery center, it also offers alternative treatments for patients seeking psychological help.
Bynes move to The Canyon to continue her treatments cam just days after a judge declared her mentally unfit to stand trial in her DUI case.
She is expected to be under psychiatric care for the remainder of the year, confirmed the New York Daily News.
