Sheriff’s Department to Host Teen Traffic Safety Seminar

The Malibu/ Lost Hills Sheriff’s station and the City of Malibu will hold a free traffic safety seminar for teens and parents on Tues., Oct. 8 from 7-9 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at City Hall.

The seminar is a part of the sheriff’s Teen Traffic Offender Program (STTOP). “Is your teen road ready?” seeks to help teens and parents with teens who are preparing to get their license understand new laws, license requirements and restrictions that apply to California drivers. The seminar will also feature guest speakers from the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station, staff from the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and an instructor from Elite Driving School.
