Bromberg & Sunstein LLP, an intellectual property law firm based in Boston, announced last week that Pepperdine University School of Law graduate Thomas J. Tuytschaevers has joined the firm as an associate.

Tuytschaevers focuses on patent prosecution as well as intellectual property licensing, litigation and transaction due diligence. Prior to attending law school, he worked as an engineer focusing on missile guidance radar design at Raytheon Co. He received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Northeastern University.

“We take pride in the depth of experience of our attorneys and are delighted to have Tom Tuytschaevers join our team,” said Robert Kann, managing partner of Bromberg & Sunstein. “We are confident that his legal acumen combined with his technical expertise will enhance our position as one of the nation’s leading intellectual property law firms.”

Tuytschaevers teaches in the Intellectual Property graduate certificate program at Northeastern University’s School of Professional and Continuing Studies, and also volunteers at the Sheldon W. Rothstein Mediation and Conciliation Program in the Dedham District Court. He lives in Lincoln, R.I.
