Malibu Disaster Management Coordinator Receives CEM Credential

Debra Pedrazzoli has received the Certified Emergency Manager credential.

Debbie Pedrazzoli received the Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) credential, the highest honor of professional achievement available from the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM). Pedrazzoli, the disaster management area coordinator for Area B of Los Angeles County, which includes Malibu, was approved for the CEM by the North American Application Review Commission during its meeting Sept. 11-13, 2014. 

The CEM program was developed by IAEM, with funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and guidance from an advisory board of professionals to promote greater efficiencies when it comes to emergencies. 

The L.A. area Pedrazzoli works in includes Malibu, Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Hidden Hills and surrounding cities.Â
