Our Lady of Malibu School recently conducted its annual Women in History Day. The educational event featured appearances by Katy Kamen as Amma Sri Karunamayi, Hindu spiritual leader; Vanda Collins as Phillis Wheatley, the first published African- American woman and poet; Tammy Arlidge as Margaret Brown, an activist, philanthropist and survivor of the Titanic who was also known as “The Unsinkable Molly Brown”; and Sue Mabbutt as Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain.
