Diesel, A Bookstore hosted a discussion and book signing with author Tom Robbins on his memoir, “Tibetan Peach Pie: A True Account of an Imaginative Life,” last Thursday.
The Malibu Country Mart courtyard was overflowing with fans of the author who is known for his novels, “Even Cowgirls Get the Blues,” “Another Roadside Attraction” and “Jitterbug Perfume.” Robbins read excerpts from his memoir — hypnotic stories of his life experiences, travels, people and writing, which captivated the audience. Robbins answered questions about his style, subjects, the new age of technology and texting and its influence.
