Former Malibu Times intern Katianna Tron is engaged to be married to her longtime boyfriend Derrick Sokol, after he proposed on the beach in Malibu at the end of July.
“Just a quick update: I’m going to be marrying the greatest person I’ve ever met,” Tron shared in an informal announcement.
Tron recently graduated with a degree in English from William & Mary. Sokol has a degree in chemical engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
