Pepperdine University hosts its annual Songfest production from March 13-17 at Smothers Theatre. Shows will occur daily, starting at 7:30 p.m.; a matinee show will be held on March 17 at 2 p.m.

Songfest will include dancing, singing and more from university students. This year’s theme, famous Hollywood movies, will showcase “diverse student organizations” creating performances based on different movies.

For the first time, an alumni, staff and faculty group will be joining the lineup.

The program—the university’s “biggest student program and longest-running student tradition,” according to its website—began in 1973. It will feature a live pit orchestra, lighting design and more. The students compete for the Songfest Sweepstakes Award.

Ticket prices range from $7-$20. Visit pepperdinesongfest.com for more.
