The Malibu Public Library and Bank of Books cohosted an evening with multitalented actor, director and author Anson Williams last Tuesday night. Williams discussed his memoir, “Singing To A Bulldog.” Guests enjoyed Williams’ humorous tales about his life in Hollywood, auditions for the hit TV series “Happy Days” and landing the role as Warren “Potsie” Weber, as well as poignant stories about his childhood and mentor Willie Turner, whose inspiration gave him the confidence and courage to be the man he is today.
“Willie Turner helped me … find me … and my purpose. Without Willie, there would be no article to write, no pictures to take and no stories to tell,” Williams said. A book signing followed the discussion. “Singing To A Bulldog” is available at Malibu’s local bookstore, Bank of Books, in Point Dume Plaza.
