Malibuites wed

Malibu residents Rich Fox and Elizabeth Turner were married Nov. 21 at their home in a private family ceremony. In attendance were Fox’s mother, Henrietta Fox from Massapequa, N.Y., and Turner’s father and stepmother, Thomas and Linda Turner of Cleveland, Ohio.

Before moving to California, Turner studied and worked oversees in Asia. Speaking fluent Mandarin, she consults with Western companies doing business in Asia and Asian companies expanding to the West.

Fox consults with non-profit organizations around the world, including UNICEF, Doctors Without Borders and Defenders of Wildlife. He also serves as president of, the worlds largest Internet shopping site benefiting charitable causes. Fox is on the Board of Directors of the Malibu Township Council and is a former board member of the Malibu Labor Exchange.

Turner and Fox are active environmentalists. They met at a California Wildlife Center fundraiser.
