U.S. Vice President Mike Pence visited Southern California last week and attended fundraisers in both Beverly Hills and Malibu.
According to NBC Los Angeles, Pence made an appearance at a fundraising brunch, hosted by Malibu locals Marc and Eva Stern. House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy was also in attendance.
Tickets for the event started at $10,000; proceeds went toward “Protect the House,” a joint fundraising committee that benefits Pence and McCarthy’s political action committees as well as a number of House Republicans.
A roundtable discussion with the vice president was also listed on the invite.
Pence concluded his visit with a look at the California-Mexico border wall.
