The following incidents were reported between 6/11 – 6/15

6/11

Pier paint

Deputies responded to a vandalism report call at a business on the historic Malibu Pier. The victim reported the white electric box was vandalized with graffiti.

Laptop larceny

A MacBook Pro computer worth $3,000 and a leather bag worth $300 were stolen from a vehicle parked south side of Pacific Coast Highway. The owner of the vehicle said her passenger window was smashed where she had hidden her bag and laptop.

Remote control 

Deputies responded to a home burglary on Pacific Coast Highway. The victim said an unknown suspect entered the residence via the rear slider door and stole $1,000 and an Apple remote.

Tools taken

A pipe threader and a plate compactor were stolen from a storage container in a construction site in Malibu. The work tools were worth $5,000 and $2,500.

Un-safe

Deputies responded to a burglary report call on Busch Drive. The homeowner came home after having dinner with his family and noticed his front door was unlocked. His safe was stolen from his closet containing his diplomatic passports, US passports, credit cards and $500 in U.S. currency.
