Photos: An ‘Angry’ Affair

Celebrities and their families strutted down the red carpet, scattered with brightly colored feathers, at the Columbia Pictures and Rovio Animations Premiere of “The Angry Birds Movie,” which took place at Regency Village Theatre on Saturday, May 7.

Children from the Boys & Girls Club and the Make-A-Wish Foundation joined the star-studded festivities. Children were delighted with the appearance of characters from “The Angry Birds Movie:” “Red,” “Chuck” and “Bomb,” as well as live birds and piglets.

The all-star cast lending their voices to make the magic happen included Jason Sudeikis, Bill Hader, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Peter Dinklage, Sean Penn, Blake Shelton, Keegan-Michael Key and Tony Hale.

The animated comedy, which is based on the Angry Birds app, opens in theaters on May 20.
