The Pepperdine Waves women’s sand volleyball team kept on rolling Friday as they added to their all-time home record to 10-0 with a 4-1 win over rival Loyola Marymount.

Amazingly enough, Pepperdine’s all-time record at Zuma beach is 58-10.

While the Waves didn’t shutout LMU, Pepperdine won four of the five matches against their opponent. Sophie Asprey and Victoria Adelhelm made it look easy in their match as they downed the opposing side 21-13 and 21-10. Asprey had 21 digs and Adelhelm finished with 12 kills.

Next week, the No. 1-ranked Waves take on the No. 2-ranked USC Trojans. Last time they played the Trojans on March 8, the Waves won 5-0.

After facing USC, Pepperdine travels to Atlanta for the Sand in the City tournament hosted by Georgia State.
