Dozens of families came to the Malibu Library parking lot on Saturday, Jan. 20, to explore construction equipment, emergency vehicles, unique cars and more at the City of Malibu Community Services Department’s Touch-a-Truck event, co-sponsored by the Malibu Library.
Designed to offer kids the opportunity to “see, touch, explore and honk the horns of their favorite trucks and emergency vehicles serving the Malibu community,” the event allowed Malibu kids to learn more about the world around them and interact with first responders, city officials and other community members in an educational atmosphere.
In addition to the many vehicles present, there was also an art activity, story time and food trucks selling snacks and sweets.
