The Pepperdine University Waves men’s basketball team won one game and lost the other last week. The women’s team lost both their games in the Pacific Northwest.
The Waves men’s basketball team earned a win over the University of Portland Pilots, 66-64 at home Feb. 10. The team then suffered a loss to the Gonzaga University Bulldogs, 63-44, Feb. 12. Next, the Waves hit the road to take on rival Loyola Marymount University Lions Feb. 16 at 8 p.m.
The Waves women’s basketball team lost to the Pilots in overtime 78-73 Feb. 10 in Portland. The team then fell 73-59 to the top-ranked Bulldogs Feb. 12 in Spokane, Wash. Next, the team takes on rival Loyola Marymount University Lions at home Feb. 19 at 2 p.m.
