The Malibu Art Association’s juried show at the Pacific Palisades Library, 861 Alma Real Drive in Pacific Palisades, called “The Challenge of Colors,” continues through May 2. The gallery hours are from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
The exhibit was judged by well-known artist James Urmston. His selections were first place, Maxine Colby, with a collage “The Sky is Falling;” second place, Lee O’Keefe, watercolor; third place, Gay Summer Rick, oil and Honorable Mention, Bruce Trentham, oil.
