Three Malibu natives were awarded spots on Pepperdine University’s Seaver College dean’s list for the spring semester.
Locals Ruth Brook, Yukari Yamada and Jacob Perrin were among the 263 students to receive the honor.
In order to make the dean’s list, students must be in the highest 10 percent of their class and maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average.
