“Well, I don’t think it’s a good idea because Malibu doesn’t have its own police force. The police force it uses is in Agoura Hills… Who’s going to go follow up on all the petty theft? And Malibu is a sleepy beach town, it’s always been known… people feel safe, people don’t lock their doors. Now they’re going to have to lock their doors, put gates up, it’s going to change the entire ambiance of Malibu.”
