A female hiker fell from Escondido Falls last Thursday afternoon and suffered a head injury when she reportedly hit her head on a rock, according to Malibu Search and Rescue Team Captain David Katz.
Fire and rescue crews airlifted the hiker from the area with a helicopter winch and transported her to UCLA Medical Center, Katz said. He described the 30-year-old hiker as being in an “altered level of consciousness.”
