The Purple Pop Tarts, an all-Malibu girls basketball team, recently secured first place for the 2009-10 season in the Agoura Youth Basketball Association with a 9-1 record and a 33-22 victory over the second place Monarchs. The Purple Pop Tarts now go on to compete in the league tournament.
