The following was addressed to Mayor Conley Ulich I followed the library news, from when you initially discovered that the L.A. County Library System was siphoning off monies due the Malibu library for other county libraries to your initial call for an independent library. That latter part filled me with some trepidation. I needn’t have worried. Malibu was in capable hands. After reading the latest news about how you secured all of the changes and improvements that the City of Malibu wanted, I can only applaud your superb efforts. You looked out for Malibu in a tremendous way with one of the largest, intransigent bureaucracies in America.
