A major Hollywood film producer and agent is slated to discuss his industry longevity during the Malibu Speaker Series’ first program for the 2015 season on Wednesday, January 21 at 7 p.m. in the Malibu Library.
Harry Ufland will recount his many years as an agent with notable William Morris agency, representing acting icons Robert De Niro, Martin Scorsese, Ridley Scott and Harvey Keitel.
His namesake company Ufland Productions has produced hit films, including “Crazy/Beatufiul”, “The Last Temptation of Christ” and “Not Without My Daughter”. Ufland has also packaged award-winning film “Raging Bull”, “Blade Runner”, and “The Deer Hunter”.
Ufland is currently a professor of cinematography at Chapman University Lawrence and Kristina Dodge College of Film and Media Arts,
