Malibu resident Zachary Bornstein earned All-American honors earlier this month in all four events in which he competed at the AAU Indoor National Track and Field Championships in Merrillville, Ind. Zachary competed in the Pentathlon, 55-meter hurdles, high jump and 400-meter run, placing in the top six in all the events. The Pentathlon is a test of five skills-the 55-meter hurdles, high jump, long jump, shot put and the 1,000-meter run.
Zachary is in the seventh-grade at Oaks Christian School in Westlake Village, where he will compete this spring on the track and field team along with competing for the United Track Club.
