The Malibu High School Sharks football team took took the field on Friday for its first game in this year’s season—and its first game of eight-man football.
According to information submitted to The Malibu Times, though the team lost its opener against Villanova, 34-18, the young team deserves community support.
One of the players, Braedin Taylor, a junior, reportedly led the team on defense with 20 tackles (14 of them solo), forced two tumbles and scored two of Malibu’s three touchdowns of the game.
