Senior Sara Mohr placed third in Friday’s league cross country meet. She was named to the All-League First Team. Mohr has been running for about three years. She enjoys the camaraderie that stems from a sport where one has to complete the same difficult task each time.
“It really allows you to connect with your team and even people you are racing against,” she said. “I’ve made friends with a few of my competitors this year and I don’t really see that happening with other sports that I’ve played.”
Mohr enjoys listening to music, playing clarinet, creative writing and spending time with friends. She hopes to attend MIT, Yale or Cornell in the fall. Her dream job is to work as a forensic anthropologist for the Smithsonian Institute. Mohr’s favorite movie is “Idiocracy.”
