Mr. Brainwash, a Los Angeles-based filmmaker and pop artist, has an exhibit of paper and canvas pieces on display at the Wall Street Malibu Pop-up Gallery (3832 Cross Creek Road). His work is internationally known within the street art scene. He creates his art with spray painted stencils and posters of pop art-inspired images.
One of his past exhibitions, “Life is Beautiful,” featured a 20-foot robot constructed of old televisions.
Mr. Brainwash is the subject of fellow street artist Banksy’s documentary, “Exit Through the Gift Shop.” The exhibit is expected to remain open through the end of January.
